Sending a mailing
Follow these steps to send your mailing.
On the Dispatch page, you need to fill in certain fields and make specific choices.
Sendout speed
This setting is defaulted to 'approximately 50% sending speed' and cannot be adjusted.
Dispatch date
You can choose to send your mailing immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time.
Send time options
It is best to leave this set to 'Sending time options deactivated'.
Maileon allows for mailings to be sent at times when recipients are most likely to open them. This involves complex concepts like 'sending waves', 'response probability', and 'click relationship'. These features are not usually necessary for sending a newsletter or mailing. If you want to learn more, see Maileon’s information on Shipping time options.
Summary
This section provides an overview of your mailing’s settings, including the sender address, subject line, and recipient list. You can still make changes if needed.
Send button
The 'send emailing immediately' button only becomes clickable once all required fields are filled in correctly. For example, if you forget to select a recipient list or enter a subject line, the button will remain greyed out.
