Complaints and appeals
Where can students go with complaints about assessment?
Students who have complaints about exam grading or assessment can first contact the examiner or the Board of Examiners . If the complaint is valid, the examiner may decide to, for example, remove a problematic question or adjust a grade. The Board of Examiners itself cannot make these decisions.
If a student strongly disagrees with the examiner's decision (since a grade is considered a formal assessment decision), they can appeal by submitting a formal complaint to the Examination Appeals Board (CBE).
