Web lecture
A web lecture in most cases shows a recorded lecture, often in combination with interactive slides or a blackboard. The lecture recording can be made available afterwards or streamed live for students who cannot attend the live lecture.
When to use this format? When you want:
- To give students access to the lecture outside of the lecture room, for example to rewatch a lecture to make notes or prepare for an exam
Keep in mind that:
- This format is not designed for online courses
- If you want to use the web lecture for other purposes than for lecture review, you best shorten the lectures to a maximum of 15 minutes
