Special leave and emergency leave
In certain circumstances, you may be entitled to short or long-term special leave. Emergency leave is leave that you may take if you need to take immediate time off from work to deal with sudden emergencies or exceptional personal circumstances.

If you have a membership at the University Sports Centre or SportCIty, you can offset the costs of your sports membership against your gross income.

It may happen that you are unable to work due to a short-term or long-term illness or disability.

You can arrange many HR matters yourself in Self Service. This includes booking and requesting permission for vacation, submitting travel and other expense claims, selecting flexible benefits in the terms of employment individual choices model and viewing your payslip.

If you are a member of a union, you may offset your union fees against your gross holiday allowance or end-of-year bonus.
