Space and vacant property management
The Leiden University Real Estate Directorate is responsible for regular building and renovation projects. In addition, the Directorate manages vacant University buildings.

Bicycles
If you cycle to work, you can use the University’s bicycle racks or lockable bicycle sheds; to use a lockable shed, however, you need a bicycle pass. At some locations you can also borrow a staff bicycle.

Start of construction of new University Sports Centre celebrated
On 11 July 2024, a gathering was held to celebrate the start of the construction of the new University Sports Centre (USC). Rugby players and a pole dancer from USC Leiden played a role in the celebration. A video was also shown, giving a whistle-stop tour of the new building.
