The organizations below represent the interests of postdocs within and outside Leiden University.
Leiden University Postdoc Assembly
At the Leiden University Postdoc Assembly (LUPA) you get to know other postdocs and you can exchange experiences. The platform is also a channel for obtaining information and promoting the interests of postdocs within the university.
PhDoc
PhDoc is the party that represents the interests of PhDs and postdocs in the University Council. Priorities include:
- Better pedagogical support and training for PhDs, postdocs, and junior lecturers who teach.
- Transparency on (mental) health resources available to PhDs and postdocs.
- An improvement of the career perspectives of PhDs and postdocs, with support for paths both within and outside of academia.
Postdoc NL
Postdoc NL is a national organisation that unites and represents the interests of postdocs. The network works on employment issues in the Collective Labour Agreement, increases the visibility of postdocs by setting up networks within institutions, and supports initiatives to improve career opportunities for postdocs.
