Three new Programme Directors at the Science Faculty
Starting 1 September, three new Programme Directors will begin at FWN. Daan van der Es, Reinout van Weeren, and Amineh Ghorbani will each be responsible for a master's programme in our faculty.
Master Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences
Daan van der Es will become the new Programme Director of the Master's in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has been appointed for a period of four years and succeeds Miranda van Eck, who will become the Scientific Director of LACDR as of 1 September.
Master Astronomy
Reinout van Weeren will be responsible for the Master's in Astronomy. Reinout has been appointed for four years and succeeds Michiel Hogerheijde, who temporarily held the position.
Master Industrial Ecology
Also starting in September, Amineh Ghorbani will be the new Programme Director for the Master's in Industrial Ecology. She has also been appointed for four years. She succeeds Stefano Cucurachi, who has held the role since March 2020. Amineh is currently employed at TU Delft.
