Leiden Law School's 2024 Summer Festival in the picture
Just after four o'clock on Thursday afternoon 4 July 2024, Vice Dean Jan Crijns declared the 2024 Summer Festival in the Sport Café of the University Sports Centre (USC) in Leiden officially 'open'.
All Leiden Law School colleagues and student assistants were invited and could choose between indoor activities like a pub quiz and a yoga or pilates workshop, or outdoor sports and games including beach volleyball and minifootball. The winning teams (pub quiz and sport) were rewarded with USC goodie bags. Eventually around six o'clock, all colleagues gathered outside on the terrace sitting at long beer tables and benches, enjoying the atmosphere including decorative lights, a saté stall and other food trucks. The party went on till late in the evening!
