Comenius Teaching Fellowship for Eun-ju Kim
Dr. Eun-Ju Kim (LIAS/ATC) has been awarded a Comenius Teaching Fellowship 2024 from NWO. The title of her project is "Leveling the reading and learning environment: language support for students of Korean and Japanese with reading difficulties (LD/dyslexia)".
The project continues Eun-Ju’s longstanding efforts to make second language acquisition of Korean and Japanese more accessible to students with dyslexia and similar learning challenges. In her project she will develop support methods for students with dyslexia who want to learn how to read non-Latin (including non-alphabetic) writing systems. With this project, she aims to contribute to a more inclusive learning environment.
