Berber Verhalle new assessor Faculty of Science
From September 2024, Berber Verhalle is the new assessor of the Faculty of Science. She thus takes over from Nalani Verwoord. Berber completed her bachelor's degree in Biology this year. Next year, she will start the master's in Biology & Business.
Verhalle already has in mind which themes will receive her attention. 'Topics like sustainability and student welfare are very important to me. Stress is causing more and more students to drop out. I want to investigate what students need and how we as a board can best help them.'
