Gianclaudio Malgieri to give keynote speech on fundamental rights and vulnerability at Maastricht University
Dr Gianclaudio Malgieri, Associate Professor of Law & Technology at eLaw and Co-Director of the Brussels Privacy Hub, will deliver a keynote speech at Maastricht University. This keynote is a part of the Maastricht Experience Week focusing on 'The future of privacy, cybersecurity and data management'. This series is hosted by Leiden Law School and addresses significant themes in digital rights, data management and cybersecurity.
Dr Malgieri's speech will explore the connections between human vulnerability and fundamental rights within the context of data protection and the AI Act, highlighting current challenges and potential future developments. The presentation entitled 'Human vulnerability and fundamental rights: From data protection to the AI Act' will be held today (16 May 2024 at 10.30) in the Kap2 1.009 conference room at the Law faculty.
