Gianclaudio Malgieri speaks at PLSC Conference in Washington D.C.
On 30 May, Gianclaudio Malgieri, Associate Professor of Law and Technology at eLaw, was a speaker at the Privacy Law Scholars Conference in Washington D.C.
Dr Malgieri presented his new paper entitled 'Digital dependency: needs, vulnerability and power in the platform economy', co-authored by Daniel Susser, Associate Professor of Information Science at Cornell University.
He was a Programme Committee member for the conference and the only academic from a Dutch University to be the committee. Dr Malgieri was also the commentator on the paper written by Daniel Solove and Woody Hartzog on the topic of 'The Great Scrape'.
