Save time: create RfAs, CDAs, MTAs and now also Consultancy agreements with the Luris Contract Tool
Are you already using the Luris Contract Tool? It is a handy program that allows you to easily draft your own research-related contracts, like Confidentiality Agreements (CDA), certain Material Transfer Agreements (MTA) and newly added per November 17th: Consultancy Agreements. In addition to these contracts, the Contract Tool can also be used to create work documents that are often a necessity for research projects, like a Request for Approval (RfA).
The contract templates in the Contract Tool are set up in accordance with generally accepted, standard academic terms. Therefore, the contracts that you create with the Contract Tool can be sent as generated directly to the other party, and there is no need for a Luris Legal Counsel to check or evaluate them (this is only necessary in case of changes in the contract). So making your own contracts with the Contract Tool saves you time.
The Contract Tool is easily accessible via the University staff portal and the Luris website. There is a new feature per November 17th: you can access the Tool with your ulcn logins, which means there is no need to have a separate Tool account anymore.
