LACDR PhD Introductory course on Drug Research
This week, we had the LACDR PhD Introductory course on Drug. This is always a great opportunity for starting PhD candidates to get to know LACDR, CHDR, the Clinical Pharmacology department of LUMC and the embedding of the institute in the BioSciencepark as a whole.
We welcomed 25 PhD candidates, with whom we had an inspiring, informative and lovely time. Beside the serious part of the course, there was ample time to get to know each other. It is a pleasure to be together in castle Oud Poelgeest for three days.
The program was set up to get informed about LACDR, its different divisions and the centre, but also its partners organizations from Leiden BioSciencepark. There was a workshop presentation skills including practical exercises. Furthermore, there was attention for a variety of topics such as career perspective and PhD supervision. Many thanks to all contributors and PhD candidates who have participated!
