Open Doors Day: a moment to meet each other
During the Week Against Loneliness, we ask staff to (symbolically) open their doors, especially those such as lecturers and student advisers who work with students.
We are starting this academic year physically together again in our buildings and it is time to meet and get to know each other better. On Thursday 29 September, leave your door open so that students can approach you more easily and also know where to find you for the rest of the year.
'Now that we are all back on campus, it is sometimes a bit of a challenge trying to work out where everyone is. During the Week Against Loneliness, we want to encourage colleagues and students to meet up again. Our aim with the Open Doors Day is to show students that we are back in the office and that they can always approach us if they have any questions or want to talk about other issues,' explains Faculty Student Wellbeing Officer Ellis van Spanje.
