Get Started campaign kicks off: Make students aware of the importance of the library
Assignments, work groups, deadlines and the first exams in sight! The Get Started campaign of Leiden University Libraries aims to help new students to find their way in the library. We can use the help of teachers for this campaign.
As a library we offer students quiet study and computer places and extensive collections of books, journals and databases about their new field of study. Teachers can also request a course reserves shelf with relevant literature for a study group, making these books easy to find and permanently available.
Get Started campaign
To introduce students to the library and the many advantages it can bring them during their studies, we are organising the Get Started campaign in September. The Get Started website will tell students about our services and our various locations in short videos, and offers all the information a new student needs in a clear and concise way. In addition, we are organising a treasure hunt in the University Library on the Witte Singel, where students can win a free cup of coffee, a university jersey or a beautiful reproduction of a print from the Leiden collections.
Help us give your students a flying start to their studies by pointing them towards our Get Started website and telling them about our services and facilities. We wish you all the best for the new academic year!
