Tessa Kelder is the new Head of Communications and Marketing
As of February 1, Tessa Kelder is the new Head of Communications and Marketing of the Faculty of Humanities.
Tessa studied English Language and Literature at Utrecht University and the University of Manchester (UK). After completing her degree, she worked for a large care and welfare organisation in Utrecht for several years. In 2006, she moved on to the Dutch House of Representatives, where she worked for 16 years. From 2010 onwards, she was team leader at the Department of Communications.
Late 2021, Tessa saw the vacancy for Head of C&M at the Faculty of Humanities on Linkedin. A wonderful opportunity, she says. ‘As someone with a degree in English-language literature, I have a strong affinity with the broad field of humanities. And I was ready for the next step in my career. I am looking forward immensely to working with everyone involved to shape the communications of the faculty even further, and to bring all the wonderful things we do here to the attention of a wide audience.’
