Annemiek Hogendorp new head of HR Humanities
Annemiek Hogendorp has been appointed as head of the HR department of the Faculty of Humanities with effect from 1 January. ‘I’m very proud to be a member of Leiden University’s education and research community.’
Annemiek’s original specialisation was Dutch language and culture (University of Amsterdam). However, after what she describes as ‘a Blue Monday working as a teacher’, she spent ten years in communications, before moving into business management. She completed an MBA (TiasNimbas) and now has more than ten years of managerial experience in HR for clients in healthcare, education and local government. Annemiek is also active in Leiden as a community mediator and is involved in the development of the Energy Park (the Stadsbouwhuis in particular).
‘Helping the University to move further ahead’
‘I’m looking forward to the adventure as HR manager in the Faculty,’ says Annemiek about her new role with the Faculty of Humanities. ‘I’m very enthusiastic to start this new job, and look forward to working with everyone here in HR on helping the Faculty of Humanities and the University to move further ahead. There are so many exciting opportunities here.’
