New website of national Law Sector Plan
A new website has been set up that provides information about the government funded Law Sector Plan in the Netherlands, including the plans of the participating universities and developments within the agreed themes.
In the Law Sector Plan all law faculties in the Netherlands have agreed on how they will work together and make investments in the coming years. The faculties will collaborate on legal research projects related to five themes. Besides this, all faculties have agreed to focus on two other themes: ‘Increasing and maintaining influx of young researchers’ and ‘Diversity/Inclusion’.
Leiden Law School is contributing to the legal research themes Empirical Legal Studies and Institutions for Conflict Resolution.
The Law Sector Plan has been adopted by the Council of Deans and is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW).
