Interview Linda Holtman
Linda Holtman
Name:
Linda Holtman
Age:
39
Position/Division:
Lecturer; I give courses for all three divisions of the LACDR
Works at LACDR since:
2017
Works at LACDR because:
I like to teach and I like to work on how to implement didactics to improve education. Meanwhile there is ample opportunity to maintain a close connection to research! At the LACDR I have the chance to do all of that, at the study program Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences, which I have studied myself as well!
Favourite childhood memory:
Spending my summer holidays with the Croatian part of the family in my grandparent’s summerhouse in the mountains of Gorski Kotar (Croatia).
Best quality:
I’m always willing to help someone.
Worst quality:
I’m not too patient…
When I am off, I:
Love to spend time outdoors with my husband and two daughters or go horse-riding in the dunes and on the beach: you can regularly find me riding anywhere between Katwijk and Scheveningen.
Next scheduled holiday:
Tyrol, Austria: hiking at its best!
Favourite sport:
Horse-riding
Favourite music:
Everything from dance/EDM to pop to classical (piano) music. And I need to admit: 90s music.
Must-see series:
I just finished Band of Brothers: eerily accurate and I learned so much more about WWII history.
Favourite books:
I love Fantasy books, with David Eddings being my favorite Fantasy-author.
On my wish-list:
So many travel destinations! And chocolate.
