Wimar Bolhuis joins audit committee of Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis
Wimar Bolhuis, lecturer in economics, has become a member of the Central Planning Committee (CPC), the independent supervisory committee which audits the work of the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (CPB).
A systematic review must be held periodically of the CPB’s work and working methods. This includes examining the relevance of its policy, its societal relevance, scientific quality and future-proofness. The CPB sees this as an important moment to review its position. The audit will be published before summer 2022. The previous audit took place in 2016.
Besides Bolhuis, the other committee members are Paul Schnabel (chairman), Simone Boitelle, Harry Garretsen, Hylke Vandenbussche and Gita Salden.
