Microsoft Authenticator
After entering your username and password in Teams, Office 365 and OneDrive, you need to confirm your login through the Microsoft Authenticator app. This is an extra security step (multifactor authentication).
Where can you download Microsoft Authenticator and how do you set up the app?
Set up the app
These steps will take 15 to 30 minutes, so don’t wait till the last minute when you need to be logged in.
- Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your telephone via de App store (iOS) or Play store (Android).
- Log out of Office 365, Teams, Onedrive and Skype for Business on all your devices.
- Set up the extra security step by following the instructions in the manual.

The university has a processing agreement with Microsoft. The privacy of your personal data is therefore guaranteed, also in the authenticator app.
