Join Us for an Inspiring Lunch Lecture & Dialogue Session with Prof. Aukje Nauta

The Young Academy Leiden invites you to a thought-provoking session with renowned organizational psychologist Prof. Aukje Nauta. In a 30-minute lecture, she will explore sustainable employability—diving into the hidden dynamics of shame, stress, and conflict in the workplace. What truly matters to us at work? How can we thrive, stay engaged, and remain connected in ever-evolving work environments?

Following the lecture, enjoy a relaxed lunch and take part in interactive dialogue sessions where we’ll reflect on what drives us, what we value in our roles, and how we can support sustainable careers—starting with ourselves.

Aukje Nauta is a distinguished organizational psychologist and holds the position of Professor by Special Appointment in 'Enhancing Individuals in a Dynamic Work Context' at Leiden University. In addition to her academic role, she is an independent speaker, writer, and psychologist. Professor Nauta's research focuses on areas such as employability, conflict management, social innovation, dialogue, and idiosyncratic deals. She has explored topics like the impact of shame in the workplace, noting that it can lead to stress, conflict, and even burnout. Her work aims to understand how connectedness in the workplace helps individuals to be their full selves and perform better.
