Come and celebrate Earth Day 2025 with the BA International Studies on May 2nd! 

Get inspired by a lecture on ecologies of resistance, and help LUGO DH Green Team and the BASIS Visual Arts committee paint stones and seashells to place in the SBS garden.

Why does Greta Thunberg wear a kefiyyeh? And why does the Kurdish Freedom Movement mention ecology as a main pillar of their political struggle? On the occasion of Earth Day 2025, this lecture explores the question of political justice in the environmental movement and the role of the ecological in political struggles for liberation.

Workshop: Painting workshop for the SBS Garden

17:00 - 18:00, Restaurant @ Schouwburgstraat

In this workshop we will be painting stones for and decorate a flower pot to place in the SBS Garden at the end of the workshop. This event is led by the BASIS Visual Arts Committee and LUGO's Campus Den Haag Green Team.
