Are assessments in higher education rendered more or less fair by the use of artificial intelligence? As both students and teachers can increasingly use AI tools in their assignments and assessments, it becomes crucial to reflect on the promises and pitfalls of these technologies. The project FAIR-ASSESS - Leiden University relies on the value of fairness to develop a normative framework for analysing, evaluating and guiding AI-assisted assessments. Curious to know more?
