Are you a lecturer, study adviser or student counsellor? Or do you have a lot of contact with students in your work? Mark Tuesday 25 March 2025 in your calendar for the Staff Symposium on Student Well-being. This year we’re inviting you to join us in exploring the theme ‘Today’s Students’ and will discover together how best to respond to students’ changing needs.
What can you expect?
It promises to be an inspiring and insightful day! The day will be opened by Emma Agricola, founder of Inclusyoung, with her powerful keynote ‘From Boomer to Zoomer’. She will explore generational differences at Leiden University and show how each generation has its own unique value. She will also focus on the current generation of students, Gen Z. How can we better understand, support and connect with them? Emma will give us valuable scientific insights and practical tips for successful intergenerational collaboration.
Alongside the keynotes, you will also be able to take part in interactive workshops on topical themes and will have plenty of time to share experiences with colleagues from other faculties or departments. You will leave at the end of the day with insights you can immediately apply to your work.
This symposium is the chance to increase your knowledge of student well-being, gain new inspiration and help make a better future for our students. Don’t miss it!
We look forward to seeing you on 25 March, from 09:30 to 16:00, at the ECC event centre in Leiden. The full programme and more information about registration will follow soon.
