GGZ-training: Signaling mental health problems in students

On Monday March 24th, a free, English spoken, GGZ training on "Signaling mental health problems in students" will be organised from 13:00 to 17:00. The training will take place at the Schouwburgstraat Building (Schouwburgstraat 2, the Hague) in the Living Lab (2nd floor, next to the elevator).

The training, especially relevant for teaching staff, is provided by GGZ Rivierduinen and will focus on prevention: what signals can you catch in- and outside the classroom?

The training focusses on:

  • Signals of mental health issues and recognizing relevant psychological problems
  • Estimate whether a student needs a helping hand, and knowing where your boundaries are in this 
  • How to start conversation and where to refer to
