This workshop uses reflective tools and collaborative activities to help teachers critically examine and refine their perceptions of their roles, responsibilities, and teaching styles. By fostering an active and responsive awareness, participants gain the insights needed to adapt effectively to the complexities of classroom dynamics.

Learning Goal: After the training teachers can:

  • Explicitly Define Roles and Styles: clearly articulate their personalized professional roles and teaching styles.
  • Align Practices with Expectations: align their teaching roles and responsibilities with effective teaching practices and the specific needs and expectations of their classroom environments.
  • Apply a Teacher Identity Model: utilize a theoretical model of teacher identity to identify at least two actionable opportunities for autonomous growth in their roles and teaching approaches.

The language of communication during this workshop is English.
