Pitch us how your research relates to the topic of Cultural Heritage!

Organized as part of the Kiem grant 'Networking Heritage at Leiden University', this open-mic-style event invites PhDs, postdocs, and academic staff from all faculties to pitch their research through the lens of cultural heritage.

Whether your work overtly tackles cultural heritage or engages with it in less obvious ways, this is your chance to learn how others approach the topic, find inspiration, and network. Together, we will delve into the definition of cultural heritagein different academic disciplines, how different research projects align with the topic, and explore possible future research avenues from an interdisciplinary perspective. By joining, you can help in building a research network from the ground up by uncovering the rich tapestries of cultural heritage research at Leiden University!

The format encourages spontaneity: researchers can pitch their projects on the spot or simply listen to the ideas shared by others. For those who’d like to secure a 5-minute pitch slot in advance, please contact Anna Loh at a.f.loh@fsw.leidenuniv.nl.

Complete with coffee, tea, and snacks, this event provides the perfect setting for meaningful conversations and cross-disciplinary connections centered on cultural heritage research, and is a great opportunity for researchers to expand their personal network.
