3 Years of War in Ukraine
On february the 24th, it’s been 3 years since Russia invaded Ukraine (again). Many developments (technologically and strategically) have been featured in this conflict, as well as the involvement of other countries. This past year, Iran and North-Korea have started to interfere. This could have implications for the development of the war.
On the 24th of February, the KVBK, Leiden university, the Clingendael Institute and the Faculty of Military Sciences of the Netherlands Defence Academy, are organising the symposium ‘3 Years of War in Ukraine’.
The programme is as follows:
16:30 - 17:15 hrs. | Doors to location open* |
17:15 | Opening by the Institute of Security and Global Affairs and a keynote speech by our Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans |
17.55 - 19:15 hrs. |
A panel discussion by Bob Deen, Esselien van Eerten and Open Door Ukraine, about the war, the developments in this past year and the implications of the interference of Iran and North-Korea, with a Q&A session |
19:15 hrs. | Ending with a drink’s reception in The Hague |
