Get project management support for collaborative research projects

At Leiden University, we are enhancing post-award project management with the introduction of a university-wide pool of Research Project Managers, housed at Luris.

This initiative aims to relieve researchers of the administrative burden associated with managing externally funded collaborative projects. The flexible capacity of this pool can be utilized when institute-level capacity is unavailable. Within the pool, two experienced project managers will be available to support researchers with externally funded projects.

During this information session you will learn about the pool and be introduced to the current project managers. We will also explain where the pool fits within the overall organisation of the university and how it complements the work of the other support services within the Leiden Research Support Network.

Topics covered:

  • What is the project management pool
  • What type of support is available
  • Meet the pool project managers
  • How to apply for support from the pool and leverage this new initiative for research projects

Target group:

  • Researchers (especially those who have recently applied for or are thinking applying for grants, or who have recently been awarded a grant)
  • Research support staff,
  • Institute board members

Speakers: Elka Smith and Francesca Moretto, Pool Project Managers.
