To enrich Leiden University’s agendas to understand existing global challenges, we invite scholars interested in exploring responses and ideas from the LAC region on questions on Resilience and Adaptation to Digital, Social, and Natural Challenges. Topics may include: Bio/Diversity, In/Equality, Migration, Security, Digitalisation, Democracy, Governance. We invite scholars working on these, and other, topics from Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences.
The workshop’s aim is twofold: (1) learning and drawing from the expertise and regional knowledges to make visible the South/North and South/South agendas for collaboration, and (2) to strength the position of the Latin America and the Caribbean region within Leiden University and in both cities where the University is based, Leiden and The Hague.
