Join us for 'Next Steps?', a networking and mentoring event designed to connect early-career researchers and teaching staff at ISGA with experienced mentors from both academia and beyond. This event is an excellent opportunity for junior staff to gain insights into career progression while senior staff and alumni can meet the next generation of ISGA talent.
Objectives
- Facilitate connections between early-career scholars (tutors, PhD candidates, Assistant Professors) and experienced mentors (Professors, alumni, senior staff).
- Provide guidance and mentorship to support career development, both within and beyond academia.
- Create opportunities for meaningful conversations, exchange of ideas, and professional growth within the institute.

| Enjoy refreshments and informal conversations to keep the networking going. |
Are you a mentor or mentee?
- Mentor: For those with more than 7 years of experience in formal research or teaching roles. Mentors will share their professional experiences and insights with early-career scholars.
- Mentee: For those with less than 7 years of experience in research or teaching. Mentees will have the opportunity to connect with senior staff and alumni to gain career advice.
