On Wednesday 27 November, we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Public Administration at Leiden University. We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating this occasion at our institute in The Hague!

Reason for a celebration?

Since 1984, Public Administration has become an indispensable part of the Netherlands. Forty years later, the question arises: is the discipline ready for a new phase?

In a time where crises follow one another, and the gap between government and citizens grows, public administration is more relevant than ever.

But what has been the impact of the past four decades?

What can you expect?

• Inspiring panel discussions and lectures where we examine the influence of public administration on public governance.
• Prominent speakers such as Johan Remkes, Jan van Zanen, and Tom-Jan Meeus will share their insights.
• Additionally, you can sharpen your public administration knowledge and skills with the latest insights and developments.
• Would you like to help the next generation? Share your valuable experience with future public administrators.
• Of course, there will also be time to catch up with fellow alumni and (former) staff during the reception.
