Before the 2024 US elections...
How has the Democrats’ new nominee for president Kamala Harris changed the election campaigns? Who are the undecided voters and how do the campaigns try to gain their support? What role has political violence, including the attempted assassinations of Donald Trump, played in the campaign? What is the likelihood that we will see more protest, (legal) conflict, or even political violence? Will the democratic institutions again hold?
Please join the round table to discuss these and other questions with panelists from the social sciences and humanities providing insights on contemporary US politics from an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective. After short inputs from the panelists, there will be time for the audience to ask questions.
