During education week, the Leiden Healthy Society Center (LHSC) organizes its fourth knowledge café. The theme this time is Father Involvement. Fathers are playing an increasingly important role in parenting and are essential for the development of the child. Although the role of fathers is increasingly recognized, research shows that they feel limited involvement within the care and welfare system. Fortunately, more and more initiatives are emerging to involve fathers. This knowledge café offers a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices and to brainstorm about future initiatives.
