The fifth (hybrid) edition of the Week of Indonesian Netherlands Education and Research (WINNER) will be held In the week of 23 September, for the first time in the Netherlands.

Sign upWINNER is a collaboration between organisations including the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, NWO, KNAW, NUFFIC, the Dutch Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesian Innovation and Research Agency (BRIN), Directorate General of Higher Education in Indonesia, Indonesian Young Science Academy and the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague.
Programme
Day 1 (Tuesday 24 September)
The first day will be hosted in The Hague by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Wim van den Doel (Dean of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus alliance, LDE) will sign an agreement with the Directorate General of Higher Education in Indonesia for financial matching for the INUCoST project.
INUCoST stands for Indonesian Netherlands Collaboration on Sustainable FuTures and is a partnership between the LDE alliance and five Indonesian universities: Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Universitas Indonesia in Depok, Institut Teknologi Bandung and Universitas Mulawarman in Samarinda, Kalimantan.
INUCoST is the first Dutch consortium to collaborate with Indonesian universities thanks to matching funds from the Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education. A number of activities have already begun, including the first LDE minor in Indonesia (in collaboration with Universitas Indonesia).
Day 2 (Wednesday 25 September)
The second day includes hybrid sessions at various Dutch universities on key topics related to cooperation with Indonesia, including Energy, Health, Agriculture, Water, Law & Legal and Culture & History. Young researchers, professors and alumni from Leiden University will make presentations during these sessions:

- Nuffic The Hague: Health

- Leiden University: Culture and History
Day 3 (Thursday 26 September)
The third day consists of hybrid sessions concluding with an in-person meeting organised by the Indonesian Embassy at Indonesia House in Amsterdam. The Office of Leiden University in Indonesia will host an online session on INUCoST in the morning.
