Since 1 January 2024, Leiden University is a contributing member of The Conversation, an international not-for-profit news platform, which focuses on sharing scientific knowledge with a wide audience. This involves both science news and interpreting current affairs and developments in the world from the scientific expertise of member universities. The Conversation is well read worldwide, especially by other major news media. Membership gives our Leiden scientists a springboard to more international press. The Conversation also provides various forms of media training for scientists and communication specialists from member universities.
Online introductory training by The Conversation for Leiden researchers
On Tuesday March 5, 15.15h - 16.30h, The Conversation will give an online presentation to get acquainted with their activities, working methods and opportunities for Leiden scientists (language English). The presentation will last an hour, afterwards there will be a 15-minute opportunity for questions.
