'Academia in Motion : open science and recognition & rewards' is Leiden University’s contribution to the national initiative for a new approach to working together on an open culture in which we stimulate collaboration and recognise and value everyone's contribution.
Thursday 21 March, the Faculty Board invites all university (i.e. academic and support) staff to get together for an informal discussion on how our faculty will move towards the culture change of Academia in Motion.
A few of our enthusiastic and ambitious colleagues will inspire us with their projects and good practices, showing how they are involved in the university’s Open Science community, have set up transdisciplinary research collaboration, and are actively engaging in citizen science projects. The central AiM team, including Hester Bijl, will also be present to share the why of Academia in Motion and answer any questions you might have.
During this afternoon, we would like to find out what our research community needs to meet the ambitions of Academia in Motion and how we can start moving forward.
