Academics, unite!
The central government of the is no longer propagating competition in the higher education. Quite the opposite the cooperation between Dutch Universities in education, research and valorisation, is now promoted from the Ministry of education. But how? There was no blueprint provided, so academics have to work that out by themselves.
Fortunately, this symposium organized by Leiden University offers a platform for best-practices and e academics and policy makers who already collaborate across organizations (or aspire to).
Who is this collaboration symposium aimed at?
- Academics connected to one or more Leiden-Delft-Erasmus (LDE) collaboration programs.
- Academics who (want to) engage in cross-organizational research or teaching.
- Academics who (wish to) actively collaborate with other public parties.
This symposium will predominantly be held in Dutch but also offers English sessions.
What will we do?
What will we do?
We will first be inspired about collaboration by speakers and examples from other fields and practices. Then we will work in interactive sessions to get to know each other and identify needs and obstacles to cooperation. We will close in plenary session after which there will be room for further discussion during the networking drinks.

This symposium is part of a three symposia aimed at promoting cooperation and countering compartmentalisation in education, research and public administration.
