The Grant Development Team is organizing an information briefing in September on the upcoming ERC Starting and Consolidator grants. These funding opportunities are for early-mid career researchers (2-12 years post-PhD) looking to fund an ambitious 5-year project. They offer between €1.5-2m in funding, and are thus extremely competitive and prestigious awards.
We will give an overview of the grants, their eligibility, criteria, applications forms and offer some tips on what it takes to be successful. The CV section of these proposals has recently changed, so even if you’ve applied before it will be worth attending. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions of the grant advisors.
