Join us June 16 for Utopia from Within, a panel discussion on doing welfare differently. Scholars engaging with welfare experiments across the globe will discuss: How do welfare experiments in different cities reimagine relationships between state, society, and citizens? Do they perpetuate existing social hierarchies, or do they move beyond them? And what do they tell us about our political futures?
The panel
The panel is moderated by Anouk De Koning (CADS, Leiden University) and includes speakers like Miriam Ticktin (CUNY Graduate School) and Katerina Rozakou (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens). This event is part of the Prototyping Welfare research project, supported by NWO.
