We are all inspired, but at the same time critical what ChatGPT means for teaching. By popular request SEEDS and LLInC are organising a dialogue session about this new AI tool and AI in Education in general for the Faculty of Science. Speakers will be Michiel Musterd, Adel Quaddoumi and Marco Correa Perez (LLInC), Eric van Hoof (Privacy Officer Faculty of Science) and Peter van Putten (assistant professor LIACS and AI expert).
Some perspectives that the speakers will reflect on:
- Why is there such a big fuss about ChatGPT?
- What are the pros and cons to take into consideration?
- How can we use this new tool safely in our education?
Please note that an university wide policy is currently under discussion.
Registration
Registration is not required. Livestream link to the presentations will be provided here on 9 March. Recording of the speakers (but not the discussion) will be provided in the Teams environment Teaching@Science which is open to all teachers at the Faculty of Science.
