A time to look forward
This year the Faculty of Archaeology celebrates its 25th birthday. We do this by organising a series of social and academic events. Please join us on December 13th for a panel discussion and End of Year Drinks.
The event will start on 15.30 hours sharp. In the previous event, the party on September 8th, we looked back upon the past of our Faculty. The event on the 13th is all about looking forward. What will the archaeological discipline be like in 25 years? It's time for a lively discussion!
For the debate we invited a varied group of archaeological thinkers:
- Carl Knappett (Toronto University)
- Rosemary Joyce (University of California Berkeley)
- Ian Lilley (University of Queensland)
- Elisbaeth Niklasson (Abderdeen University)
The discussion will be moderated by Martina Revello Lami and Martin Berger. Input from the audience is, of course, very much appreciated. The future of archaeology is, in the end, being shaped by all of us.
After the event there will be End of Year Drinks.
