Do you also find it a wonderful, yet challenging to think about how your research may contribute to a better, smarter, more equal, creative, and beautiful world? We think so too!
The Faculty of Humanities invites you to the Engaging Humanities – Exploring Impact event on Thursday November 17th. Together, we will explore aspects and discuss different ways in which humanities scholars contribute to the world and society in a positive way.
During this event we will create an informal space for sharing ways to engage with society. We will also discuss how we, as a faculty, can facilitate, convey and appreciate this impact, in all different forms.
Themes of the day include:
- Examples of how your colleagues are creating impact
- Collaborating with the city and its residents
- Impact and funding
- To tweet or not to tweet, that’s the question
- IMPACT conversations! Communicating with non-experts.
- A round-table with the faculty board on how the faculty can help you strengthen your impact.
