This presentation is a reflection on how the historiographical trends in post-colonial and decolonial analysis have intertwined with the comparative and transnational analysis in the study of contemporary history in Chile and Latin América. I will emphasize discussions of methodology and frameworks of analysis in the new trends of historical writing.
