Mark Tuesday 6 September from 16:00 hrs. in your calender for the festive opening of the academic year in the Atrium of the Gorlaeus Building. The band of De Leidsche Flesch, Bronsch, will play some nice tunes. At 18:00 hrs., there will be an evening lecture by Spinoza laureate Professor Ignas Snellen. He will talk about exoplanets and the search for extraterrestrial life. The lecture is in English and will be held in the De Sitterzaal (Huygens building). You can also watch the lecture online.
