Audio-visual equipment in lecture halls
Nearly all lecture halls are equipped with a computer with a projector or television screen. Do you wish to use audio or video in your lecture? Check beforehand in the lecture hall whether your material can be played.
You need to log in with your ULCN account to use the computer for presentations. Guest speakers need to apply for a guest account. Some of the larger lecture halls are also equipped with facilities for recording lectures.
Access to your personal drive
Because you have to log in to the computer, you have access to your personal or shared drives, just as at your workplace.
Installed software
The lecture halls are equipped with a limited set of software, including the following:
- Chrome, Edge
- Office 365
- VLC Media Player
Do you want to have other software installed? This is only possible if you need it for multiple lectures. Contact the Service desk or the audiovisual service >>
Recording facilities
For more information on recording facilities or having your lecture recorded, see under Web lectures.
Reserve studios and video workstations
Some faculties have studios and/or video workstations where you can use PCs with advanced audio, image and video editing software.
