Audio-visual equipment in lecture halls
Nearly all lecture halls are equipped with a computer with a projector or television screen. These computers do not require you to log in, so guest speakers do not need to have an account. As a standard, these computers are equipped with PowerPoint, Word and various Internet browsers. Some of the larger lecture halls are also equipped with facilities for recording lectures.
If you wish to use audio or video in your lecture, please check beforehand in the lecture hall whether you can actually play the relevant file. Please do check, even if you had no trouble opening it at your workplace.
Access to your personal drive
You can access your personal, department or workgroup drive on the lecture hall computers by logging in to your remote workplace. Every lecture hall PC has a ‘Remote Workplace’ icon on the desktop.
