Workshop
This is the second iteration of our bi-monthly AI in education meet-ups organised by ECOLe (FGW), FLO (FGGA), SEEDS (FWN), and SOLO (FSW).
Generative AI (GAI) is here to stay. That means we will need to learn how to teach in a world with GAI. In the past year, much has been said and published on how not to use GAI, but the question remains: how can you integrate GAI in your teaching in a way that is beneficial to you and/or your students?
What can you expect from this workshop?
As a teacher you need to create and update many different course materials throughout the year. Rubrics for your assignment, learning goals for your course, engaging examples to use during lectures, your e-prospectus page, standardised feedback for supervising students, and more.
During this meet-up, Lisann Brincker, educational advisor and developer at SEEDS will show you how GAI can help you become more efficient in creating didactically sound materials. She will prepare prompts and examples to discuss during the meet-up and provide a didactic evaluation of the output. There is also room for questions and cases from you, the teachers.
After attending, you receive a toolkit with the prompts that were discussed, some tips and worked-out examples that help you try it out yourself next time you work on your own materials.
